Once again they have gone and done it! Enactus Southampton have brought home the National Competition Cup.

On the 13th and 14th of April 2015 Enactus Southampton fought fiercely in the annual Enactus UK National Competition.

The team, made up of Josh Hasdell, Jake Davies, Bradley Heslop, Adam Boxer, Nikki Hawkes, Rosie Davis, Alasdair Gerrard and Rosie Maddren, won the competition for the fourth time in five years.

They presented a slick presentation of their two flagship international projects Right Light and SanEco in a well-rehearsed 17 minute presentation.

The competition this year was very strong and the team were highly anxious to win back the cup from Enactus Sheffield who were victorious last year! After a very competitive final round and a fantastic standing ovation for Enactus Southampton after they had finished, the team were ecstatic to hear the results.

The National Champions are now looking forward to representing the University of Southampton and Enactus UK at the Enactus World Cup which will be held in Johannesburg in October this year.

Well done team!

No mention at all that these projects involve asking for donations to send students on a two week “working stint”.

Yeah they are claiming holiday money and claiming its for charity.
It would be far more effective to donate your money to a real charity
