Budding entrepreneurs among us will be pleased to hear that Dragons’ Den is coming to Highfield Campus this Saturday.
Six adventurous contestants will have to face the four Dragons in a fight to win them over with their business ideas in the hope of gaining a real financial investment.
The four high-profile entrepreneurs are ready to give away thousands of pounds!
The six were short-listed from applications which were open to all students and graduates from April 24 2014. These six will face the four business entrepreneurs, or Dragons, in their attempt to see their business ideas go from a theoretical imagination to a practical reality.
ECS Entrepreneurs Chairman and PhD Student, Zilong Wang said:
Entrepreneurs are getting younger and younger; we must fuel their spirit and passion.
This is clearly demonstrated by the fact that, in a recent Nectar Survey, 80 per cent of young people in the UK would like to start their own business.
This event is taking place at The Bridge on the University of Southampton’s Highfield Campus on Saturday 2 May 2015 between 2pm and 5pm.
