Tuesday will see The Stag’s host SUSU’s T20 ticket launch.
The event will run from 11.30am-2pm and will see Hampshire cricketer Jackson Bird sign autographs and meet fans.
Bird has been capped three times by Australia.
The deal will allow students to buy tickets to Hampshire’s T20 matches this year from The Stag’s.
There will also be a ‘Speed Net’ on the concourse at 12:45pm for students to take part in.
VP Sports, Katie Lightower, said:
It’s been a great year for sports at SUSU and I’m really pleased to announce our partnership with Hampshire Cricket Club.
We hope by providing students with new cricket experiences to improve student engagement with the local sporting community and to develop the identity of the Stags into a more sports orientated setting
The event is aimed at getting more students to go to Hampshire’s T20 matches, with tickets costing only £15.
